With decades of experience raising, showing, and judging birds, Ken brought the same care and attention to detail into crafting his feed blends. After perfecting his homing pigeon mixes, he turned his focus to a blend made just for show breeds—the Basic Mix.
Instead of whole corn, this mix uses popcorn as its primary carbohydrate source—easier for smaller birds to digest and just the right size. Paired with safflower, red wheat, and milo, this forms a solid base. Then we layer in our signature combination of peas and smaller treat seeds like millet, canola, and flax to round out a top-quality mix that supports year-round health and keeps your birds show-ready.
